We loved our stay! The receptionists were professional & very helpful. The restoration of this building was unique & interesting with partial glass floors that revealed the wine storage room below. Our room was a good size, clean and we even had a refrigerator. We paid for the breakfast and it was well worth it from the made to order eggs to the great coffee. Great location too. I want to come back! Mochas Gracias

A great find. It is a small boutique hotel with comfortable rooms (excellent bed), delightful and helpful staff (particularly Daniella), contemporary fixtures and very good breakfast and restaurant (try the croquettes). Good value. The neighborhood couldn't be better, with many restaurants and bars, a nearby supermarket, short walk to Plaza Mayor, Plaza del Sol and the La Latina Metro station. Highly recommended.

I had as very pleasant stay at Posada del Leon de Oro. The staff were wonderful. The room perfect. The hotel was in walking distance of most sites in Madrid and close to restaurants and tapas bars. Highly recommend.

The young lady with the red hair who manages the Reception was excellent and so was my room (104), which was very nicely laid out had a super comfortable bed.....definitely staying there again!

We had a great time at Posada del León de Oro, which was also because we got a free upgrade and were able to move into the penthouse. The location is great, the room was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful

The hotel is in a very good central location in old town Madrid. The room was very unique and charming. I would go back anytime to stay there again.

A very comfortable hotel in an excellent area, close to Plaza Mayor but far enough away to give an authentic experience. Efficient and friendly staff that really helped us out when needed and their restaurant and bar menu were delicious and very popular! Definitely stay here again if I return to Madrid.

The room and hotel were very nice and in a great location. The room was large, clean, and modern. The only downside is that the lighting in the room was not very good for reading or putting on makeup.
