Fantastic place, and nice rooms. Great location! For your internal use; It could be a bit more personal. When the hotel is so nice, the reception is old school.

What a great place to stay! Hard to think of a better and more convenient location - right in the middle of the best tapas street in Madrid. We had the Penthouse which was spacious, clean and modern. Despite being in the middle of all the action, the room was quiet. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant - what more could you want?

We enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The location was ideal for what we wanted to accomplish. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate staying at your hotel again.

some noise until midnight both from street and the bar down stairs but the room was large, bed and pillows comfortable and the shower excellent.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and in the middle of the lively neighbourhood of La Latina with lots of Tapabars, cafes and restaurants. Although the streets are buzzing with people till late in the night the rooms are quiet (if the windows are closed). The hotel has the charme of a historical building with all the modern amenities required. It is as unpretentious as you would hope for a posada (which means 'inn'), but equipped with all comfort. The staff is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

During my four-night stay, I was quite satisfied with the hotel staff and my room. It's a very clean hotel and its location is excellent for tourists. I recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Madrid.

Our stay at Posada del Leon de Oro was great! The hotel itself is situated on a street with numerous tapas bars so you never have to walk far to get great food, and it’s also close to many popular areas like the royal palace, plaza mayor, and sol should you need to get anywhere. the room was very nice, we got a junior suite and it was easily our nicest stay during our Spain trip - (traveled to 4 other cities).

We loved the hotel and it’s staff. Perfectly situated in Madrid. Wonderful rooms and above all a wonderful staff. The feeling of a family hotel in the very best meaning of the word. So well done!

The hotel is cozy, way better in life than photos. Turns out it's a historic building and under the crystal floor in the restaurant part you can see the remains of Madrid wall from 12th century. Stuff is friendly, supportive and kind. Thank you all!

We had a wonderful stay and loved the room. The bar we only used Sunday but we enjoyed it.

We stayed three nights recently and had an excellent time at the Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful on every interaction. The Restaurant downstairs (closed Mo/Tu) was extremely practical and also quite good. Breakfast was well organized as well. The rooms are comparatively large, which we enjoyed, and the air conditioning in the room worked well. Got the hotel marked on my map for the next visit! See y'all soon!

There is a very good reason why Posada del León de Oro is consistently voted one of the best hotels in Madrid. Everything was perfect! The location, the room, the staff and it's faciities were as good as a person could hope for. We will certainly be staying again on our next vist to this beautiful city.

Wonderful weekend stay in the heart of La Latina district! The room was spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. The staff, from check-in to housekeeping, were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is awesome! We'll stay here on our next visit to Madrid.
